The Answers:

What does a CEWE PHOTOBOOK cost? [Back]

Clear price lists for the available photo products, arranged according to the various groups of merchandise, can be obtained by clicking the "price list" button in the header. Clicking this function opens the price list.

Now you can select the individual products and find the corresponding prices.

They are sorted by format, cover and paper type.

You will also find the price for additional inserted pages.

The price lists are kept up to date by means of the update function (next menu item but one).

What is in the shopping basket? [Back]

In the shopping basket you can see which items you have currently selected for your order.

Each individual item in your order is listed. If you have used any chargeable design models or themed pages, you can also track these in the shopping basket.

You can order further items, amend the quantity of items already selected and delete these items. It is also possible to retrieve and edit the items which have been placed in the shopping basket.

On the right-hand side of the shopping basket you will see the price for each individual order line.

In the case of orders by CD, the prices are those charged by the store in which you place your order.

Where can I select the order and delivery channel? [Back]

You select the order channel in the shopping basket. There are two basic possibilities:

  1. CD order
  2. Online order

Important: The possible order channels depend on which dealer you have chosen.

Not every dealer supports all order methods.

How do I place my CD order? [Back]

If you place your order burnt onto a CD-R/RW in your photo dealer's store and also wish to collect the goods from the store, use the option "Burn CD – leave with / collect products from photo dealer".

Click this option and then press "next".

A form opens for the details that are required for the ordering process.

If you have a voucher, do not forget to enter the voucher number.

If you check "Save personal details on hard drive", you will not need to re-enter these details in a subsequent order.

Click "Next".

All burners connected to your computer will be offered to you to select from.

If you encounter problems during burning, you can alternatively produce an ISO image and burn a CD using a different program such as Nero.

Select the required burner and set the writing speed suitable for your burner and your CD-R/RW and click "Next".

The data will be prepared (a CD image will be created). You will be asked to insert a CD-R/RW.

Click "OK" to confirm when there is a CD-R/RW in the burner.

The burning process then starts.

Done!

Please place the burnt CD in a photo order bag at your photo dealer's store and hand it in.

That complete the order process.

Attention:

Please follow this procedure.

MCF files which are simply copied onto the CD and burnt do not contain any order information, such as your address or the number of photo products, and cannot be processed in production.

Can I check the status of my order online? [Back]

Yes, please refer to the email you received when you placed your order for information on despatch times and a link to track your order.

Can I cancel my order? [Back]

It is not possible to cancel the order for a CEWE PHOTOBOOK, since it will immediately go into automatic production and can no longer be stopped.

Why is my order being returned without being processed [Back]

If you have submitted a CD order for processing and it has been returned to you without being processed,

there are basically two possible explanations:

The most likely explanation is that there was no order on your CD.

That means you did not place your order through the software and burnt the CD using a burner program installed on your computer.

In this case the information on the CD will not be sufficient to print the required CEWE PHOTOBOOK.

It is therefore essential that you always place your order using the CEWE PHOTOBOOK software.

Another possibility is that there is an error on the CD which makes it impossible to read your order data.

In both cases, your order should be placed again and a new order CD should be burnt.

What do I do to make a complaint? [Back]

If there are grounds for complaint, we handle it differently depending on whether you selected postal delivery or collection from the store.

If you ordered your CEWE PHOTOBOOK for postal delivery, please contact our Customer Services by telephone or e-mail.

If you have received your CEWE PHOTOBOOK order in a store, you should complain through that store.

To do so you should ideally place your CEWE PHOTOBOOK in the original packaging, enclose the order bag with the order CD if you did not order online, and briefly set out the reason for your complaint.

You should then send this entire order back to us through the same store.

How soon will I hear back from Customer Services [Back]

Telephone customer enquiries:

Customer Services will respond immediately. If the facts cannot be clarified directly, the Customer Services agent will gather the required information and contact the customer immediately.

Customer enquiry by e-mail:

Customer Services is instructed to answer all incoming e-mails within 24 hours.

In the case of queries for which Customer Services needs to inspect production data and/or verify other processes, the 24-hour period may be exceeded.

You can be sure, however, that each enquiry will be dealt with as rapidly as possible.

What do I do if there is a colour fault in my pictures? [Back]

Incorrectly reproduced colours or colour faults in your CEWE PHOTOBOOK may be caused by the automatic image correction.

If you find a fault in your CEWE PHOTOBOOK causing colours to be reproduced incorrectly, you can complain so that the responsible laboratory can check the details of your order.

Which company will deliver the product [Back]

That depends on the weight of the order. Orders under 1000g are delivered by the Post Office. Orders over 1000g are delivered by a parcel service.

Can I place a repeat order? [Back]

Yes, if you had placed your order online. Please look back at your Despatch Confirmation email which was sent to you, there you will find a link and an access code for your reorder. This link will allow you to reorder the product up to six weeks after the product was originally ordered. You can also allow your friends and family to order copies of your book from this link.

No, you are not able to reorder simply if your original order was placed via CD.
